PAUL MASON BARNES is a freelance director and founding/producing director of the Great River Shakespeare Festival in Winona, Minnesota.  Recent work includes: The Glass Menagerie (GRSF), The Merry Wives of Windsor (GRSF), Noises Off (PCPA Theatrefest), Tribes (Phoenix Theatre), The Mouse Trap (Repertory Theatre of St. Louis), The Comedy of Errors (GRSF), Circle Mirror Transformation (Actors Theatre of Phoenix), The Miracle Worker (Syracuse Stage), and Macbeth (Repertory Theatre of St. Louis). Additional credits include productions at The Denver Center Theatre Company, Alley Theatre, Folger Theatre, American Players Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, The Fulton Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Missouri Repertorty Theatre, and the Oregon, California, Alabama, Idaho and Orlando (Florida) Shakespeare Festivals. Barnes makes his home in Ashland, Oregon.
