Musical Theatre
The B.F.A. in musical theatre has been restored. While we do a search for a new tenure-track position, the program will be lead by guest faculty member Linda Nenno. A veteran of Broadway and regional theatre, Linda has extensive professional experience as both a performer and director of musical theatre.
Auditions for the program will be Wednesday August 22 at 5:00 p.m. To audition students must have completed 60 hours. (The curriculum has been extensively revised, and so we will work with students to insure timely completion of the degree.) The audition will consist of two songs: a ballad and an up-tempo number. An accompanist will be provided. A resume, a headshot, and a copy of your transcripts should accompany your application. Those wishing to audition must sign up in the main office by noon on Wednesday Aug. 22. More details will be available in the main office.
