The first step in becoming a Texas State University student is to fill out the Texas Common Application, which can be submitted online by clicking here. Other University admission procedures can be found on the Texas State Undergraduate Admissions website.

Take a Tour
Tours of campus are given daily through the LBJ Student Center. You can tour our building anytime by stopping by the main office, or making an appointment with the Academic Adviser.

Academic Advising
After you have been accepted into the University, make an appointment with the Theatre & Dance Academic Adviser, Tina Hyatt by calling the main office at (512) 245-2147.

Financial Aid
Vast amounts of financial aid are available through our department, the University, and Government Aid. To learn more, visit the Financial Aid website.

As the B.F.A. pre-professional programs do not start until the junior year, admission auditions or portfolio submissions are not necessary unless you are applying for the B.F.A in Musical Theatre program.
