General Performance

If performing is your primary interest but you missed the auditions for the restricted program, you may be interested the Performance and Production degree with concentrated electives in performance. A student seeking the BFA in Performance & Production can select from a variety of acting and performance art classes to fulfill the 18-24 hours of theatre electives required for the degree. The P&P performance student will be able to audition for the Mainstage and Studio productions and participate in many other performance opportunities created for Texas State theatre students. This degree is ideal for acting transfer students and students who are interested in performance and other areas of theatre such as directing, playwriting, stage management or film.
