Helping people for more than two decades, Dr. Robert Wildman is known throughout the world as being an expert in nutrition. His professional activities have included teaching at universities/medical schools and publishing research, providing seminars to health professionals, authoring books and developing food and supplement products and serving as spokesperson for nutrition brands. Dr Wildman has dedicated his life to helping people live their lives longer and healthier. Dr Wildman is the creator of TheNutritionDr.com (www.TheNutritionDr.com) and the Principal at Demeter Consultants LLC (www.demeterconsultants.com), a private nutrition industry consulting firm, as well as on the faculty in the Department of Food and Nutrition at Texas State University.

Dr. Wildman has authored several nutrition books including The Nutritionist: Food, Nutrition and Optimal Health, Sport & Fitness Nutrition, Advanced Human Nutrition and The Handbook of Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods which are used by consumers and health professionals and students around the world. Current efforts include BODēquation which provides instructions for readers to develop and maintain a personalized diet, exercise plan and lifestyle to achieve a healthier, fit body that looks and performs great. Being a foremost authority on nutrition, Dr. Wildman has been interviewed on TV newscasts (photo from UPN Atlanta above) and for newspapers such as NY Daily News and LA Times. He is a authored articles and been quoted in numerous magazines including Status Fitness, Men’s Health, Woman’s Day, Healthy Living, Honey and FIT.Style and numerous Men’s Health books published by Rodale Press. He is also a featured Nutrition Expert on www.LifeScript.com, a leading woman’s health and wellness website and is a featured blogger on LifeScript - HealthBistro. Dr. Wildman has been interviewed on numerous radio programs including DR Whitaker and Whole Foods. He has presented national sports nutrition, shape up and scale down seminars to personal trainers, nutritionists and the general public and has been an expert panel member for the Columbus and Marine Corp Marathons.

Dr. Wildman is a registered and licensed dietitian with the American Dietetics Association and has a PhD from The Ohio State University in Human Nutrition. He received his MS from The Florida State University in Foods and Nutrition and a BS from the University of Pittsburgh in Dietetics and Nutrition and is a Fellow of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN).

Dr. Wildman enjoys weight training and endurance activities, has run marathons and has competed in several triathlons. He is a living example of how balancing good nutrition and healthy lifestyle leads to a healthy existence.
